I recently watched the movie "Hidden Strike" and I have to say, it was quite an entertaining evening. I wasn't expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised by the level of humor and action in this film.
One thing that really stood out to me was the unique stunts and combat scenes. It's refreshing to see a movie that doesn't rely solely on bullets and explosions to create excitement. Instead, "Hidden Strike" showcased a more creative approach to fighting, which I really appreciated. It was a
What is it with Chinese ladies and their naturally bewitching charm?! ... Li Bingbing, Fan Bingbing, Ada Wong, Angela Yeung Wing, Jing Tian, and now... Chunrui Ma. Of whom plays the role of the classy, vixen Dr. Mei here. And oh yes, not to derail from this action thriller---This,... is a guaranteed entertainer of a spectacle, with a tweak of mystery on the side. From sandstorms to explosive sequences. A deceptively clever storyline with dynamic direction that reminds me of Rob Cohen's The Fast
If you don't mind a mainland Chinese political propaganda movie this one is a pretty good action film and a lousy comedy. I like most Jackie Chan movies, and the first time I saw Cena as a star pro wrestler I knew he would switch to acting to keep his body from ring pounding because he has natural talent. Chan plays a Chinese special forces soldier heading an operation to rescue several hundred Chinese refinery workers in an unnamed middle east country supposedly from rebels. Cena plays a semi
Surprisingly, this movie was enjoyable. Since Jackie Chan has portrayed himself as an unhappy old guy in previous films, this comedy-filled film wonderfully transports me back to Jackie's happier Rush Hour Jackie days. Jackie Chan and John Cena performed better than I had anticipated! I like their chemistry on film, and since the conclusion leaves room for a sequel, I sincerely hope they do. I need to see them working together again. Maybe someday as a family? Hot damn, just do it!

Honestly had a lot of fun watching this film! Great action and great performances from all parties. If you enjoy buddy action comedies then you love this movie! It wasn't perfect, some cgi was a bit weird and some ba kgrounds looked a bit off but all around nothing wrong with anything else imo. Fun writing and Cena and Chan had great on screen chemistry. Very funny together and the stunts and fight scenes were awesome!

Great movie. I wish it explained a little better what country it was in and why Americans were attacking a Chinese oil plant in the Middle East for no apparent reason except for a handful of thugs or bad American white guys trying to steal billions in oil willing to kill innocent Chinese people , thankfully my favorite John Cena who runs a orphanage team's up with one of another of my favorite actors Jackie Chan and the Chinese to get rid of the evil American thugs to save the day. With Jackie C
I would say that Cena and Chan work well together. It does get a bit goofy comedically speaking but that's often what Jackie Chan movies are like. Cena can work in that environment but maybe a few of the scenes could have been avoided. Cena can act but moving back quickly from action to comedy put a bit of a strain on his abilities. At the beginning when Cena and Chan were adversaries they had the traditional Chan vs big guy fight. You know where everything Chan's character does just bounces off
Well, didn't expect much at the beginning, but it's quite a good entertainment after all.You can see very good efforts have been made from all parties involved. JOHN is a good surprise too, considering he has done much acting before. He shows very good sense of humour and better stick to this. Jackie is the good old Jackie and the Director has done a good job too. Nothing is perfect, but this movie is indeed a pleasant surprise.
